Mrs Jean Carr, 78, from Burnopfield, has been a loyal customer of Jennings Ford for as long as she can remember, having in the past, purchased vehicles from South Shields and the group's former dealership in Washington.

Despite the sales operation at Washington having now transferred to the group's state-of-the-art dealership on Riverside Road in Sunderland, Jennings Ford's service department is still in operation at Parsons Road in Washington, which is where Jean still goes to get her car serviced.

Jean said; "Over the years, I honestly cannot fault both the sales and service side of the business at Jennings Ford, which is one of the reasons why I have remained so loyal over the years."

Jean added; "I can't praise the staff enough. I know all of them by their first names and they all know me. Every time I go to the service department at Washington, it feels like home from home and I know if ever I have a problem, they're only a phone call away."

Recently, when Jean's Ford Fiesta needed servicing, staff at the Washington service department made arrangements for the car to be collected from her home and delivered it when the service had been completed.

Jean went on to say; "I couldn't live without JenningsFord."

It hasn't always been a case of Jennings Ford assisting Jean. A few years ago, when the company was launching a radio campaign which involved interviewing loyal customers, Jean was more than willing to help out by saying a few words of appreciation.
